Banquet History

Thank you!

We want to thank everyone who attended our banquet Thursday, September 29th.  It was an incredible night of celebrating all that God has done in and through the ministry of CLC.  We have had many victories over the past 32 years and are excited about the opportunities in the future.

Our sixth grade classes are still going strong.  We will have almost 200 students attend this class by the end of May.  Our high school classes will have more than 200 in attendance this year.  CLC is not maintaining- we are growing and want to thank you for your support!  We are excited to have shared our vision for CLC at CCMS, and we hope you are as excited as we are to make it happen!

We are so thankful for our board members, our table hosts, all those who donated a silent auction item, and the precious students and Global Youth Ministries who served us dinner at the banquet.  We especially want to thank our sponsors.  We are so blessed by their generous donations so that everything given goes directly towards ministering to the students of Gilmer County.

Please consider partnering with us in prayer, by volunteering, through financial giving, or by becoming a Christian mentor through our mentor program. CLC and CLC at CCMS needs you!

We want to especially thank the First Baptist Church for allowing us to use their Fellowship Hall.  Their continued support is a blessing to our ministry.

Thank you to all our Sponsors!

——————————————————————————————–

Our banquet will be held at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.  The evening will begin at 6:00 with a silent auction then a catered dinner will be served at 6:30.  This year you will not only hear testimonies of students but you will also hear a vision for the future of CLC.  God is working in mighty ways at CLC.  Come be a part of His work.  You don’t want to miss this evening!

We are looking for businesses, churches, and individuals to sponsor our banquet.  Would you consider investing in CLC?  It is not just about one evening.  It is about the students of Gilmer County hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and changing their lives.  We have some great benefits to being a sponsor.  One benefit is: sitting close to our speaker, Marty Simpson, so that you can see every facial expression, and not miss a single moment of his comic genius.  For more information on sponsorship click Sponsor levels or email jennifer@gilmerclc.org

If you are interested in donating a silent auction item click Silent Auction Form (1).  We always have great items during our silent auction.

If you want to attend the banquet, please reserve your seats ASAP!  Our banquet will fill up quickly.  Call the office or email Jennifer to make sure you get a seat.  Please, if you are unable to attend and have already reserved a seat, call and let us know.

Lastly, if you have a business, church, or individual that would like to host a table please contact CLC as soon as possible.  We would love to have your business, church, or you represented!

We are so grateful for your support of CLC!

We are so thankful for everyone who came to our 2nd annual Banquet and silent auction! People from all over the community came out to celebrate God’s faithfulness in our ministry for the past 30 years. We looked to the past to see all that has been accomplished but now we must look forward to the next 30 years. Students in Gilmer County need Jesus and need the CLC. We need your support….whether that is your prayer support, financially, volunteer, or becoming a Christian mentor through our mentor program. We need you. We cannot survive without you.

We are so thankful for our faithful board members, our table hosts, all those who donated a silent auction item, and the precious students who served us dinner last night.
